Description: Investigates philosophical issues relating to human sexual behaviors and identities. Topics include attempts to distinguish sexual from nonsexual activi- ties; the construction and medicalization of sex and sexuality; and historical and contemporary ethical evaluations of various sexual activities and identities (homosexuality, heterosexuality, masturbation, sado- masochism, various fetishisms, polyamory, and other nonmonogamies).
