Description: Utilizes film, video, and texts to examine the relation- ship among gender, mechanization, and shape during the twentieth century. Focuses on the performing arts, industrial and technological design, and the rela- tionship of visual culture to changing notions of gen- der. Course is repeatable. Cross-listed with DNCE 171G. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
