Description: Explores examples of dynamical systems, quadratic maps, maps of the circle, and higher- dimensional examples. Includes symbolic dynamics, Sarkovskii’s theorem, hyperbolicity, and structural sta- bility. Introduces chaotic dynamical systems and the period doubling route to chaos.
