Description: Studies myths and mythological figures in 17th- through 20th-century French texts. Focuses on literature (theatre, short sto- ries, and novels), and film, painting, and popular cul- ture. Myths include Pygmalion, Venus, Orpheus, Narcissus and Echo, and Icarus. Course is conducted in French.
