Description: An introduction to Native American gender systems and the changing roles of women. Examines the cultural productions of indigenous women that make impor- tant interventions in our understanding of gender and social justice in contemporary Native America. Materials include testimonial literature, autobiogra- phies, films, novels, and popular culture. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
