Description: Examines the various aspects of the politics of the Chicano movement from 1965 to 1974. Focuses on in-depth analysis of the movement’s historical genesis, leadership, ideology, organizations, strategy, and tac- tics, as well as the issues that brought it into being. Also examines the forces that contributed to its demise. Fulfills the Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
