Description: A study of late Victorian the- atre and culture through the works of Oscar Wilde Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts (1854-1900), an Irish, feminist, aesthete, socialist, homosexual Victorian author. Includes readings of Wilde’s plays and nondramatic writings as well as plays by contemporaries such as Ibsen and Shaw.
