Description: Focused analysis of contemporary issues of art and media practice communications the- ory. Investigates painting, sculpture, photography, digital practice, film, video, fiction, feminism, multicul- tural studies, and gay and lesbian studies. Involves readings, screenings, visiting artists or critics, and field trips. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 12 units.
