Description: Discusses the basic nuclear properties, nuclear building blocks and structure, radioactivity, nuclear Physics and Astronomy interactions, the strong force, the confinement and chiral phase transitions, the quantum chromodynam- ics (QCD) vacuum, matter at extreme temperatures and densities.
