Description: Introduces com- puter simulation as a tool for analyzing complex deci- sion problems. Analyzes and discusses the theory and practice of modeling through simulation. Topics include modeling uncertainty and collecting input data, basic simulation principles, Monte Carlo simula- tion techniques, model verification and validation, and analysis of simulation output. Examines applications in manufacturing, finance, health services, and public policy.
