Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: Examines the historiography of Russian his- tory. Topics include social development, cultural and religious history, peasants, industrialization, revolution- ary movements, Bolshevism, ideology, and the Russian Civil War. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maximum of 12 units.
