Prerequisites: CHE 114, ENVE 142 (ENVE 142 may be taken concurrently); or consent of instructor

Description: An introduction to methods of analysis and hydraulic design of water quality sys- tems. Application of the basic theories of fluid flow to the design of water distribution networks, wastewater and storm water collection systems, structures for flow measurement and control, and pumps and pump sta- tions. Emphasis is given to design projects aimed at developing design process skills, including problem specification, modeling, and analysis.
