Description: Presents the basic concepts of nanoelec- tronics with a focus on current flow through nanos- tructured devices. Topics include new paradigms of nanoelectronics, an atomistic view of electrical resist- ance, Schroedinger’s equation, Coulomb blockade, basis functions, bandstructure, quantum capacitance, level broadening, and coherent transport.
