Prerequisites: CS 164 or equivalent
Description: Introduces measuring and building real network sys- tems. Includes hands-on measurement studies and tools. Covers fundamental mathematical and statistical tools; exposure to implementation studies and tech- niques; principles of network architectures; and chal- lenges in building testbeds and conducting measure- ments. Explores measurements and modeling of wire- line, ad hoc, sensor, and cellular networks. Course is repeatable as content changes to a maximum of 8 units.
