Description: Explores the mutual attraction between Mexican and French cultures. Readings include the works of Mexicans Reyes, Rivera, Fuentes, and Toledo and Frenchmen Artaud, Breton, Peret, and Soustelle and demonstrate the long-lived attraction between Mexico and France. Examines how artists, writers, and intel- lectuals are transformed by their experiences in each country.
