Description: Fundamentals of chemical and physical processes controlling behavior and properties of airborne particles. Topics include particle mechanics; electrical, optical, and thermody- namic properties; nucleation; surface and aqueous- phase chemistry; gas particle partitioning; sampling; size and chemical analysis; atmospheric aerosols; and environmental effects.
