Prerequisites: graduate standing
Description: Topics include nanoelectrochemi- cal systems, electrochemistry, bioelectrochemistry, magnetic materials, spintronics, microelectromechani- cal systems/nanoelectromechanical systems (MEMS/NEMS), nanosensor arrays, nanoelectronics, corrosion, fuel cells, batteries, thermoelectric materi- als, electroenzymology, electrodeposition, electroless deposition, and synthesis of nanowires and nan- otubes. Normally graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC), but students may petition the instructor for a let- ter grade on the basis of assigned extra work or exam- ination. Course is repeatable as topics change.
