Description: Integrates plant physiological and molecular responses to the abiotic environment. Explores molecular responses to environmental fac- tors such as light, nutrients, and abiotic stress. Topics include mechanisms of gene regulation, function of novel gene products, and approaches to improve crop plants for unfavorable environments.
