Description: An advanced treatment of the functional architecture of genetic material. Topics include genome structure and chro- mosome organization, DNA replication and gene expression, cloning organisms, molecular medicine, protein engineering, and application of modern molecular biology to agricultural problems. Coverage of each topic includes discussion of the impact of the emergent molecular technology on society.
