Description: Examines debates in the study of human rights and social injus- tice. Uses case studies in Asia, Africa, and Latin America to explore legal, cultural, and political prac- tices and representations of rights and reconciliation in postconflict settings. Includes globalization of rights; cultural relativism; indigenous rights move- ments; advocacy; and gender and health rights.
