Description: Examines the dynamics of gen- der relations within the context of the Muslim world. Analyzes processes of power which influence con- cepts of femininity, masculinity, and the body and sex- uality. Explores heterogeneity of the Muslim world, as well as its unifying cultural and social history. Fulfills the Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
