Description: Considers the intersection of politics, economics, society, culture, and represen- tation in sport. Combines theoretical work and applied study for students interested in social theory and cul- tural studies. Assumes that gender is a fundamental factor in sport and vice versa. Cross-listed with SOC 154. Fulfills the Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
