Description: Focuses on “text” as a way to frame one’s position, listen to women’s voices, and explore lesbian experiences. By discussing critical theory and com- mentaries, autobiography, performance, and visual and popular culture, students examine the cultural, political, and performance potential of lesbian subjec- tivity. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
