Description: Introduces computational modeling and simulation methods for theory development. Examines “systems,” “complexity,” and “dynamics” ideas as they are applied in sciences. Explores models of processes that are applied across all social science disciplines, including aggregation, diffusion, influence, segregation, phase-transition, and bargain- ing/exchange. Covers the basics of building “agent- based” and “systems-dynamics” computational mod- els.
