Prerequisites: graduate standing; consent of instruc- tor

Description: Introduces research graduate students to two or three topics in the following areas: nuclear magnetic resonance, muon spin rotation (muSR), and heavy- fermion materials. Topics are selected to correspond to the experience and interests of the students. Students who present a seminar or submit a paper receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable. MacLaughlin
