Description: An astrono- my course for non-science students. The nearest star, our Sun, and its solar system of planets, moons, asteroids, and comets are presented in a descriptive manner. A historical astronomy of the solar system is traced from ancient concepts to modern space explo- ration. Special topics such as UFOs and colonization of space are discussed.
