Description: Addresses current critical and theoretical issues in modern and contem- porary art. Examines student’s art production in light of contemporary art practice and in relation to the interpretation and creation of art. Includes issues of race, gender, politics, aesthetics, class, and sexuality. Cross-listed with ART 160. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
