Description: Study of interactions between population growth and economic development. Topics include the history of demographic thought; lessons for developing coun- tries from the demographic experience of currently- developed countries; household production models, demand for children, mortality, health and nutrition, migration, and human capital; and macroeconomic economic-demographic linkages in developing coun- tries.
