Description: Traditional dances of Mexico at the beginning level. Outside-of- class assignments include attending dance concerts, viewing dance videos, and regular individual practice sessions. Recommended for nondancers and dancers. Normally graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC), but students may petition the instructor for a let- ter grade on the basis of assigned extra work or exam- Dance ination. Course is repeatable.
