Description: Modern dance technique at the beginning level. Outside-of-class assignments include attending dance concerts, view- ing dance videos, and regular individual practice ses- sions. Recommended for nondancers and dancers. Normally graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC), but students may petition the instructor for a letter grade on the basis of assigned extra work or examina- tion. Course is repeatable.
