Description: An interdisciplinary course that considers sci- ence fiction as an interface between today’s scientific and humanistic disciplines. Using books, films, and works of art, the course examines the interplay of these disciplines in science fiction’s treatment of such “big” themes as time, space, God, nature, mind, and the future.
