Prerequisites: graduate standing or consent of instructor

Description: A study of the synthesis, purification, and mass spectrometric characterization of biomole- cules, nucleic acids in particular. Students who pres- ent a seminar or submit a term paper receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable.
