Prerequisites: grad- uate standing

Description: Addresses the key role that environ- mental chemical processes play in water quality, pol- lutant fate, and the development of strategies for the treatment and reuse of contaminated natural resources. Students who present a seminar receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 18 units.
