Description: Surveys components of telecommunication sys- tems; examines major design and analysis issues in the development and implementation of computer communication systems. Studies both voice and data communication systems including local area net- works, wireless systems, satellite systems, and distrib- uted computer and database systems. Emphasizes evaluation of these systems for business purposes.
