Description: Strongly rec- ommended for anthropology majors and minors. Surveys methods and techniques utilized in archaeol- ogy, cultural anthropology, and physical anthropology. Explores the epistemology of scientific discourse; debates in ethnography, linguistics, and processual and poststructural archaeology; and techniques in physical anthropology, with an emphasis on demo- graphic, epidemiological, and genetic analysis.
