Getting Started

After you have followed the instructions in the manual and finished all the steps, check the following questions before you raise your hand and declare you are done.

Project 2A

Here is what you should learn from Project 2A:

  1. How to use AutoContent Wizard to create a new presentation;
  2. How to use outline pane to edit text in the presentation, and how to increase/decrease indent to promote/demote text;
  3. How to use Slide Sorter View to delete unnecessary slides;
  4. How to import slides from another presentation;
  5. How to set layout of a newly-inserted slide;
  6. How to find/replace text in slides, and control the replace for each appearance;
  7. How to add AutoUpdate text in the footer/header;

Project 2B

Here is what you should learn from Project 2B:

  1. How to create a new presentation using design template;
  2. Learn that CTRL-ENTER can help you move around the Place Holders;
  3. How to use the Slide Design pane to change the design template for: 1) a single slide, 2) the whole presentation, or 3)selected slides only;
  4. How to import from a Word file to create a presentation; note that the Word file should have proper outline structure;
  5. How to use 1)drag and drop or 2) clipboard to duplicate/move text or multiple text blocks.
