The device begins in the initial state (Start_State).
2. Press the left most button (with a
red LED) to begin the hearing test.
3. The right most button (with a
green LED) is for the test subject to indicate that he or she
has heard the corresponding frequency.
4. The second button (with a yellow
LED) from the left is used for increasing the frequency.
5. The third button (with yet another
yellow LED) from the left is used for decreasing the frequency.
6. The left most button can also act as a dummy mode, where it tests
the test subject if he or she is cheating.
7. Once one of the three buttons are pressed, the test subject has
about 5
seconds to respond.
8. Testing their upper range : increase the frequency until the subject
can not hear the frequency, and then fine tune the upper range by pressing
the increase or decrease button.
9. Testing their lower range : same as before except decrease the frequency until
the subject can no longer hear it.
10. After finding the upper and lower range, the
frequencies will be displayed on the LCD.
