Project Description

Our class project is the Ear Challenger, more precisely, a device that is used to measure the upper bound and lower bound frequencies a human can hear. The unit has two buttons to adjust the output frequency, which is generated by pulsing a small 8 Ohm speaker with a square wave. The output frequency is also displayed numerically on the liquid crystal display (LCD). The user presses a button at the lowest and highest frequencies heard, and those numbers are displayed. To ensure they aren't lying, we have implemented a dummy  mode that has them listen for a sounds of different frequencies, pressing a button within a certain period of time, to validate the low and high.

Can't touch this!
