Serengeti Stop Over(SSO) is situated along Mwanza-Musoma Road on the western edge of
Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, East Africa. The place is 141 km East of Mwanza City and only 1 km
West of Serengeti Ndabaka Gate. Lake Victoria, the second largest lake in the world is within a walking
distance from Serengeti Stop Over. The facility is therefore a perfect stop over for those who want to
explore the Lake and those going into or out of Serengeti.
Serengeti Stop Over unique buildings are designed to match the Sukuma style and the structures are of local materials. The bandas, the trees, the traditional boma are part of the surroundings.
