A little about me... born in Long Beach, California, and having been raised in Riverside since I was in second grade, I have grown to like computers and technology through TV and video games. While my academic career focuses mainly on computer science and mathematics, my dream in life is to create things that people can recognize and enjoy, either by helping them or by entertaining them. I have yet to fully decide my practical goal in modern society; either become a creator in the computer graphics industry, or a professor in either computers or math... or taking over the world, should the opportunity arise.
This really harkens from my experiences at first helping my friends in classwork in middle school and high school, up to my most recent job as a head math tutor in the UCR Learning Center. Currently, I am a lab overlord for the CS department, having TAed in C++, LC-3 Assembly, HTML, and Microsoft office (there are probably more, I'll have to think about that. What was I saying...? Oh yeah, I like helping people in math and programming and I like to create entertaining things on the computer. There is also this thing I like to do every Halloween, which is to dress up in full costume and see either the happy expressions or terrified looks from everyone on campus and where ever I wear it. If you caught sight of a white armor-clad stormtrooper from the movie Star Wars roaming the UCR campus this year, that would be I, of the SoCal Garrison of the 501st Legion of stormtroopers. This has always been a chance for me to stand out, without directly placing the attention upon myself (since I am a bit shy, as if you would ever notice that).
