Petko Bakalov

Yellowstone Welcome to my web page. I defended my Ph.D. in August 2008. The topic of my dissertation was " A Framework for Complex Trajectory Query Processing." My thesis advisor was professor Vassilis Tsotras. I was a member of the UCR Database Lab. My research was done in the areas of GIS, spatial databases, indexing and query processing in spatiotemporal databases and spatiotemporal knowledge management. Currently I work as a Software Developer in Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI). My work here is primary focused on geographic network modeling and involves our two network model's: for transportation and utility management.
