CS 8 : Introduction to
Computing

General
Policy
|
- 20 points in each lab. 5 points for attendance.15
points for lab assignments.
- You must show up within the first 20 minutes
of the lab to receive the attendance points.
- The lab assignments must be done in the lab and
graded by the TA during lab hours. Emailing your assignment is not
acceptable.
- No late lab assignments will be accepted without a
doctor's note or other evidence of a serious situation which prevented
you from showing up.
- You can have a correction on the score of
a lab assignment within two weeks after the lab.
After two weeks of a lab the score is no more editable.
- When sending emails to the TA, please use your UCR
email address and include your full name and student ID.

Makeup
Policy
|
- Inform me if you know
that you can not attend a lab. I will try to arrange another lab so
that you can have the attendance point.
- If you have a doctor's
notes or other verifications to show that you have serious reasons, you
can make up the missing lab without the attendance points, i.e,
you can get 15 points at most.
- Makeup lab should be
finished within two weeks of the scheduled date.
- Any other reason will
not be considered to give a makeup lab.
