I live in Riverside, close to UCR campus. Most of the times I can be found on Facebook or on Orkut. I have a blog that I rarely work on, but anyways, here it is.

I enjoy listening to music. My biggest regret in life is that I can't sing well (and can't play any musical instrument). If I listen to some of my favourite tracks, I sometimes start singing with it and then I feel bad about the song and the band that created it and so I shut up. I learned playing Hawaiian guitar when I was in school, but didn't learn well enough and now I don't even remember how to play it.

Anyways, coming back to my music, I like a lot of bands. My favourites would include Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, R.A.T.M., Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Liquid Tension Experiment, Dream Theater, Rush, CCR, Grateful Dead........ I can keep going on this, but this is good enough to give you some idea. And, of course, I love the Bollywood music. :-)

Since I like trying out new music, I also listen to Western Classical and Jazz but don't have much understanding of these music styles (trying to improve on that). I have been inspired by my friend Gaurav to try listening to Indian Classical. But this requires lot of time and patience, and so I have postponed that for some time.

I also love watching movies and TV Shows. I have a huge list of favourites (movies, actors, actresses, directors etc) but I am not putting the details here. Old Info: Among the recent movies I watched, I liked No country for old men, "Juno" and "In Bruges". I really hated the movie "Race" and I think that it is worse than "Dhoom 2". Someday my recent movie list will actually be recent. Even though I don't update information here regularly, I rate all the movies on IMDB.

And then I love sports. The good part here is that I can play most of the sports (I didn't say I am good at any of them). Since I am from India, I don't have a choice but to love cricket. I like Test matches more than ODIs and T20s. Sachin Tendulkar is God. Here in US, I don't get to play cricket too much and so I spend most of my "sports time" playing soccer. My favourite national soccer team is Argentina and the favourite club is FC Barcelona.
