My name is Minzhu Xie. I am now a Postdoctoral Scholar in the department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Engineering, University of California, Riverside. I'm working under the mentorship of Professor Tao Jiang in the Algorithms and Computational Biology Lab. I received M.S. in Computer Applied Technology from Central South University in China (CSU) , Changsha, P.R.China in March 2003 and Ph.D. in Computer Applied Technology from Central South University in May 2008. My doctoral supervisors were Jianer Chen and Jianxin Wang. My current research interests are haplotype assembly and fixed parameter algorithm.
