A TOPOLOGY ANALYSIS TOOL

Objective

We developed a tool to analyze the topology of graphs and assess the realism of a topology.
The tool calculates the properties of graphs such as powerlaws and neighborhood size.

 

Input Format

 

The program can process the following type of files.

• AS Topology Files from Oregon RouteView  Router.
• BGP Files from Oregon RouteView Router.
• Traceroute based data from SCAN project of ISI
• Traceroute based data from Internet Mapping Project from Bell labs

Processing

Some of the functions of our program are:

• Identify and analyze the existence of powerlaws
• Time evolution study of the topological properties of graphs
• Analysis of the Routing Paths, including inflation, stability

 

 

Current Development

We are in the process of developing a graphical interface to our program.
