Music.

I am a big fan of music. I have a very eclectic taste. I was raised on Hip-Hop and R&B (duh!) but I have since branched out onto music more... meaningful. The Cars and women and Ice are they talk about are nice, but I drive a Mercury Tracer. I have a steady girlfriend. I do have a nice fossil watch. Does that count? Here's a cool page I found of Rappers who went to College,it's funny because these are the more introspective rappers. Basically, most of the things most rappers speak about are just not real to me. For that matter, I don't know what the hell Weezer or AFI are talking about, Hell, I can't even decipher what Davey Havok is saying. I like it when music sounds good but I love it when it means something. Not every artist does that. I'm really about the "FSQ",finger-snapping quotient. Songs need to have a good beat that you can snap your fingers to. That said, some of my favorite artist are at the bottom of the page

God.

I'm Christian. I go to church at Faith Community Church.God has worked in my life in amazing ways and I know I would not be where I am now without his work in my life. People get all weird when they hear some people from God, but the other day: I wanted to play Madden but God told me to read my bible instead. So I said what should I read. God told me to read Revelation 4-9. So I did. Minutes later Shelly called me and asked me about a topic I had just read. It's usually little things like that but God has/is good to me. I took a Religious Studies class once and learned I'm not a big fan of doctrine. I believe the main facts of Christianity, but I allow for flexibility in things that are explicitly not stated. I have read the bible through and through and never read anywhere that I need to stop eating meat on Fridays close to Easter. Sorry. I never read that I shouldn't vote or give blood. I don't know if Adam and Eve are in heaven. I don't know if Jesus had a beard, or if angels have harps. Somethings arent't worth fighting over. We should love each other. God's mercy is abundant and I see no reason for mine not to be. What I do know is that God is Love. That's good enough for me.

John Mayer I liked Dashboard Confessional until I heard Mayer. He's the best acoustic player of this generation. He looks like hell when he sings though.

Rufio!! This is great band from nearby Rancho Cucamonga. They bridge catchy tunes with interesting metal riffs. Cool guys, too.
C&C Claudio sings about an end of the world type science fiction story. Easily the most creative band i've ever heard.
Mos Def Don't like his new album, but he changed the way I thought about hip-hop.
OutKast Loved them from Day One. I admire their ability to change gradually and maintain excellency.
