Green Eyes



"Behind those magic geen eyes
lies a person who no longer tries
tries not to love tries not to laugh
but more than ready to cross someones path

anger dwells from the world she's known
ever frightful of this new unknown
hold on to known truth so tight
cannot let go to see the light

the light of a world ever carefree
wonder if that world for her lies within me
layered shells of anger and pain to break
my heart gets weak not much more it can take

as time passes more barriers are built
harder and deeper i look through the silt
maybe someday i could be so bold
as to find and ressurect her lost heart of gold "
