Course Plan:

1.      Review of Probability, Random Variables and Stochastic Processes

·        Note this is only a review.

2.      Basic Queuing Theory - (M/M/1 Class of Queues)

3.      Intermediate Queuing Theory -- (M/G/1 class of Queues)

4.      Queuing Networks

5.      Analysis of TDMA/Random Access and Priority Systems.

 

 

Evaluation Process:

 

Three home works -- Weightage 66 %

Final Exam: TBD -- 32 %

Final will be Open Text Book and Open Notes.

In class participation -- 2 %.
