Progress Reports
December 15, 2006: 1:20am
Just finished the project. I actually spent most of my time
graphing the data (the past few hours). Coding it up was pretty
straightforward. Ready for demo tomorrow.

Began implementation. Data is normalized.
December 11, 2006:
As I was reading the paper, I realized that the Random Projection
Algorithm seemed too difficult to implement in the time I have, so
I changed my project topic to Gene Expression Analysis. Although the
description of the project is simple and straightforward, I want to
implement this and spend time answering the question posed in the
project description page: "What other analysis would you do on this
network?" I think I like this project since it has a creative
aspect to it and a question to be answered.
I plan to implement it in Python, and if it runs too slowly I'll
implement it in C++. I'll probably use Matlab to plot the data.
November 14, 2006:
I will be reading the paper this week.
