Harsha V. Madhyastha is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at University of California Riverside. His current research tackles the challenges associated with scaling distributed applications across the Internet, cost-effectively leveraging the power of cloud computing services, and improving user privacy and security on online social networks. His work has resulted in award papers at NSDI and IMC. His research is supported by Amazon, a Google Research award, a NetApp Faculty Fellowship, and an NSF CAREER award.
